Middletown, New York - Community Bank of Orange, N.A. President and Chief Executive Officer Ron Gentile announced today that Anthony Russo has been appointed Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer.
Mr. Russo will be offering commercial loans, lending to builders, providing commercial mortgages, and commercial lines of credit. He is the fourth Commercial Loan Officer at Community Bank of Orange.

The 10 year veteran of the banking industry joined the CBO team "to be part of an up and coming hometown bank." Mr. Russo, who most recently held a similar position at Provident Bank, said, "I have a lot to offer in commercial bank experience, knowledge of commercial loans and a great many contacts I made while I was at Provident."
"Mr. Russo hails from Warwick, which will compliment our new Warwick branch that we anticipate opening in May," said Mr. Gentile. "We expect big things from Mr. Russo."
Mr. Russo believes in the hometown banking approach that Community Bank of Orange offers, from the one-on-one personal service the individual attention customers receive all the way up the line to a cup of coffee offered by Bank President Gentile.
"I am able to bring a lot of my clientele with me," said Mr. Russo. "They like the community bank atmosphere that the larger banks seem to have lost. People want to come in and touch a person."
Mr. Russo holds a Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, PA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fordham University in the Bronx, NY.
Anthony Russo and his wife, Theresa, have a seven-year-old son Anthony, Jr.
Community Bank of Orange is the first bank to open in Orange County in 50 years and the first ever to open in the Town of Wallkill. It opened for business in the fall of 2002. CBO is owned and operated by local people with the intent of providing hometown banking with a personal touch to local residents and businesses. This spring, the Bank will open its second branch, in the fast growing Village of Warwick.
