Middletown, NY – The Community Bank of Orange, N.A. has accepted the resignation of Ron Gentile as President and CEO of the Bank effective March 21, 2007. He has left the bank to pursue other interests.
"During President Gentile’s tenure the Bank was recapitalized and had regulatory restrictions removed. We wish Ron the best of luck in his future endeavors," said CBO Board Chairman Anthony Ingrassia."
Albert D. Alunni, the Bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since it was founded in the fall 2002, has been named by the Board as its Acting President.
Community Bank of Orange, with two branches, on Route 211 in the Town of Wallkill and at 25 Elm Street, Mitchel Corners, in Warwick, was the first Community Bank to open in Orange County in 50 years and was the first ever to open in Wallkill.
